Revamp Your Recipes: A Healthy 'Take' on Eggnog

We aren't quite to Thanksgiving yet, but that does not mean the Holiday festivities haven't already bombarded your senses. While most traditional holiday treats are not exactly health-conscious, there are definitely ways to enjoy in the tastes without sacrificing your goals.

I personally love getting creative to make my favorite holiday flavors fit within my daily (or even weekly) routine. One example? Eggnog Yogurt.

Creamy, rich, sweet, and satisfying, this treat can be enjoyed for breakfast, as a snack, or savored as dessert.


Serves 1

- 3/4 cup Greek vanilla yogurt (I prefer Oikos Triple zero, as there are zero added sugars)

- 3/4 Tablespoon light eggnog

- Fresh nutmeg to garnish

Combine the yogurt and the eggnog in a bowl until blended, top with fresh nutmeg, and devour!
